Bangkok Airways adjusts flight schedules during the Loy Krathong Festival

Bangkok / 4 November 2014 – Bangkok Airways announces an adjustment to its flight schedules and cancellation of some flights during the Loy Krathong Festival (5-7 November 2014) in order to avoid danger from floating lanterns.

Cancelled flights on 5 November 2014 will be PG235/PG236 servicing between Bangkok and Chiang Rai, PG227/228 servicing between Bangkok and Chiang Mai () and flights between Yangon (Myanmar) and Chiang Mai (PG724/PGPG723)

Cancelled flights on 6 November 2014 will be flights between Bangkok and Chiang Rai (PG235/PG236), flights between Bangkok and Chiang Mai (PG227/228) and flights between Mandalay (Myanmar) and Chiang Mai (PG726/PGPG725)

Cancelled flights on 7 November 2014 will be PG235/PG236 servicing between Bangkok and Chiang Rai, PG227/228 servicing between Bangkok and Chiang Mai () and flights between Yangon (Myanmar) and Chiang Mai (PG724/PGPG723)

Other flights adjusted during 5-7 November 2014 are PG906 (Bangkok-Chiang Mai) will depart Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) at 16.30hr. and arrive in Chiang Mai at 17.45hr. PG246 (Chiang Mai – Udonthani) will depart Chiang Mai at 13.40hr. and arrive Udonthani at 15.05hr. and PG245 (Udonthani – Chiang Mai) will depart Udonthani at 15.25hr. and arrive Chiang Mai at 16.50hr.
